Cartoon Network will be bringing Adventure time back for a seventh series.
The Emmy-winning series will return to the network alongside a host of animated renewals, including Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa and Steven Universe.
The Hollywood Reporter states that the announcement was made at this year’s Comic-Con held in San Diego.
Season six of Adventure Time averaged nearly 2.9 million total viewers on the network and Cartoon Network now aims to continue the success of its popular comedy series.
“We have created global momentum with this group of home-grown series,” said Rob Sorcher, chief content officer at Cartoon Network.
“Our commitment to keeping all of these comedies going strong is a reflection of our continued belief in the impressive creative talent powering them.”
