Cartoon Network has partnered with the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation to launch the Cartoon Express train.

The network is the number one kids' TV channel in Taiwan and once on-board the Cartoon Express, commuters will hear announcements from Adventure Time's Jake the dog.

Kids will also be able to buy merchandise, branded water bottles and model trains as well as play a themed bingo game and send Cartoon Express postcards thanks to the on-board postbox.

"To see Cartoon Netwok's famous characters splashed on the inside and outside of this remarkable train and actually see our franchises come to life on such a huge-scale project is truly impressive and exciting," said Melissa Tiner, VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises, South East Asia Pacific.

The train will run along the west coast of Taiwan, from Taipei to Kaohsiung, and to celebrate the launch, children from under-privileged backgrounds climbed aboard for the Cartoon Express' first journey.
