Classic Media has revealed that its Casper the Friendly Ghost character is to become the official ambassador for Halloween at seven of Westfield's shopping centres across the UK this October.
Timed to coincide with Halloween, a two-week promotional campaign will take place at each of the centres. Children will be able to follow Casper's Haunted Trail - to drive traffic around the centres - and will also take home Casper DVDs and Trick or Treat bags when signing up to the Westfield Kids Club.
At six of the venues, activity will culminate in a meet and greet day, with the all-new Casper costume character and an interactive 3D photo box for spooky photo opportunities. A Halloween fancy dress competition will also be running.
"We're delighted to partner once again with Westfield shopping centres," said Anja Hendriks, head of brand marketing at Classic Media. "The campaign will cement Casper as Westfield's Halloween favourite and will aim to drive tune-in to Boomerang, the broadcast home of Casper's Scare School in the UK."
