CBeebies announces second series for Hey Duggee

BBC Worldwide has ordered a second series of the CBeebies animated show Hey Duggee.

CBeebies international channels have placed the order, while in the UK CBeebies controller Kay Benbow has also commissioned season two of the series for the channel.

Since the first series aired, the show has proved to be a hit with fans and has been sold in over 80 international territories, including broadcasters in France Televisions, ABC Australia and Nickelodeon in the US.

Benbow said: “Hey Duggee has fast become a firm favourite on the CBeebies channel, so we are currently earning our ‘excited badge’ as we anticipate wonderful new adventures with Duggee and The Squirrels. As Duggee would say ‘A-Woof’,” reports Television Post.
