Popular CBeebies character Mr Bloom is extending its licensing reach, signing a new deal with Little Babas for a range of fancy dress.
The new deal - signifying the dress up firm's first foray into the licensing sector - will see the new range hit retail in spring/summer of next year.
The partnership adds to a portfolio of existing agreements for the popular pre-school property that includes Portico developing a greetings and calendars range, Random House for publishing and Abbey Home Media for home entertainment.
The show combines live action with puppetry to introduce children to horticulture through the storylines in the programme and a series of Mr Bloom live events.
The fourth series of Mr Bloom, set in his vibrant allotment, is due to air in early 2014.
The latest deal with Little Babas was brokered the hit property's licensing agency, Bulldog Licensing.
"The fact that Little Babas has chosen Mr Bloom for its first ever licensed range is testament to the huge popularity of the brand," said Vicky Hill of Bulldog Licensing.
"Both little ones and parents alike love Mr Bloom so this new dress-up range will have very strong appeal."
