Hab SoSlI Quch, I am told, is Klingon for ‘your mother has a smooth forehead.’

And thanks to a new partnership between CBS Consumer Products and the Federation of Beer, phrases like this look likely to become standard bar patter.

That’s right, a new Star Trek branded beer, called Klingon Warnog is preparing to line the walls of bars across the US and Canada this year.

The first of its kind to hit the US, the brew – a hand crafted bold flavoured Roggen Dunkel – will be officially revealed at the Nightclub and Bar Show in Las Vegas today (March 25th.)

Brewed under license by Tin Man Brewing Company of Indiana, the beer features a mild banana and clove aroma, produced by the German wheat yeast.

“The flavor draws heavily from the blending of the rye malt and traditional clove character, creating a very rich and unique flavor, a bold beer suited for the harsh Klingon lifestyle,” read a press release.

So far, no mention has been made as to whether the beer will be entering the British market, but just in case, “lupDujHomwlj luteb gharghmey!” could just be a handy phrase to learn.
