CBS Consumer Products taps McFarlane Toys for Star Trek Discovery toy lines

McFarlane Toys has signed a toy license deal with CBS Consumer Products to create figures, role play weapons and accessories for the Star Trek: Discovery TV series.

In addition, McFarlane Toys will also create merchandise from the entire Star trek universe, ranging from the classic Star Trek: The Original Series to its popular movie franchise.

The initial line will highlight two of the most iconic characters from the Star Trek universe with articulated seven-inch figures of USS Enterprise Captain James T. Kirk from The Original Series and USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D Captain Jean-Luc Picard from The Next Generation.

Various characters from the highly-anticipated Star Trek: Discovery TV series and other adaptations will follow.

Mcfarlane’s Star Trek toys will be available in the spring of 2018 at major retailers worldwide.

Meanwhile, the new Star Trek series will premiere on CBS Television Network with all subsequent episodes available on CBS All access, the network’s digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service.
