Centum Books has secured the rights to publish a range of titles inspired by Universal Pictures’ upcoming blockbuster movie, Jurassic World.
The long-awaited fourth instalment in Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park franchise, the new film is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 12th.
To celebrate the release, Centum will launch a series of books support the action adventure, hitting retailers four weeks ahead of the film’s opening date.
The agreement – brokered between Centum and CPLG on behalf of Universal Partnerships and Licensing, will see an initial offering of Jurassic World Junior Novel, a picture storybook, sticker book, poster book, activity book and quiz book.
The project will be lead by Fiona Macmillan, who was welcomed to the Centum Books team last year.
“This is a significant deal for Centum Books,” she said. “To work on titles inspired by such an internationally renowned film franchise is incredibly exciting, and we look forward to flexing our creative abilities with this range.
“We were thrilled to be selected by CPLG and believe that the release of this summer’s film will generate strong sales for the Jurassic World titles we’re producing.”
