Channel 5 nabs Zodiak Media's Tickety Toc

Pre-school TV programme will air this autumn on channel's Milkshake segment.

Zodiak Media has secured a UK TV platform for its new pre-school show Tickety Toc in Channel 5.

The channel has picked up the rights to the series which will air this autumn in its morning pre-school block Milkshake.

Zodiak Kids has also secured deals with other broadcasters including France 5, Disney Junior in Canada, TG4 in Ireland and Pop TV in Slovenia.

Karen Vermeulen, SVP for global sales and coproductionatZodiak Kids, said: “We are delighted Tickety Toc will be joining the brilliant line-up on Channel 5’s milkshake. Tommy and Tallulah will be right at home with the colourful cast of characters in the block.”

Channel 5’s Milkshake head Jessica Symons added: “Tickety Toc is a vibrant, beautifully crafted show and will be an excellent addition to Milkshake’s superb roster of top preschool programmes.”

Tickety Toc is an animated series created by FunnyFlux Entertainment founder and president Gil Hoon Jung. A deal was initially made with Nickelodeon channels around the world.

Zodiak Kids controls worldwide rights for the show except for Korea and Japan.
