Channel 5 will air season two of The WotWots.

The programme will return to the channel's pre-school Milkshake segment following the success of season one.

The deal was brokered by AG Properties (AGP), the IP and licensing division of American Greetings, which acts as licensing agent for Pukeko Pictures' brand.

Season one of The WotWots has been "a solid performer" for Milkshake; a consistently high-rated pre-school series.

“The WotWots has had a strong ratings history on Milkshake with season one and we look forward to seeing the same performance when season two premieres this year," said Andrew Smith, Chief Executive of Pukeko Pictures.

"The UK is an important growth market for the brand with Rainbow Productions scheduled to roll-out live appearances in the near future."

The WotWots is a pre-school series that follows the adventures of two adorable siblings from outer space who learn about Earth: SpottyWot and DottyWot.

In season two, the aliens land on a farm and meet and also travel to the seaside.
