Channel 5's Milkshake signs Olly the Little White Van up to 2018

The popular pre-school series will air on the network with a new series currently in production.

Olly the Little White Van has secured a programming roster with Channel 5’s Milkshake, taking the popular pre-school show up to 2018.

All 65 episodes of Olly the Little White Vann are now scheduled for year round appearnaces on the channel pre-school timetable.

Creator of the popular series, Ideas at Work, is now planning a collection of new episodes for broadcast in 2015.

Olly the Little White van currently airs acros the UK and Ireland on Cartoonito and Boomerang, with monthly viewing in Toddler Club cinemas.

In a display of international success, Ireland’s TG4 will also be broadcasting recent episode of the preschool programme in Gaelic.

Henry Becket, creator of Olly the Litle White Van, said: “It’s been quite a hard slog getting here, but it’s now becoming a very exciting time for Olly the Little White Van.

“There is no doubt that he has become a preschool favourite in the UK and his popularity is being echoed in many other territories.”

The team behind the show currently has Turkish and Russian version in production which will join over a dozen further foreign language versions, already available.

“Our aim is to now move forward with new master toy partners bringing further ways for the huge fan base to enjoy Olly and all the characters from the show,” continued Becket.

“Olly and his friends are incredibly toyetic and appeal to both boys and girls aged three to five. Our research and the amazing online reactions we are getting suggest that parents and children are crying out for more ways to experience the fun that the programmes bring to them every day.”
