Chapman hires Grass as new marketing director

Chapman Entertainment has hired Nikki Grass as its new director of marketing, the company has announced.

Grass joins the company from Entertainment Rights (formerly known as Classic Media) where she worked as head of marketing for three years.

She will replace outgoing marketing boss Melissa Brown, who is leaving the company after four years to take on the role of brand and licensing director at Syco Productions.

As well as devising marketing strategy, Grass will be given the specific responsibility for retail relationships and promotions both in the UK and internationally, as well as manage the in-house web, publicity and design teams.

Chapman makes its announcement ahead of Brand Licensing Europe – the pivotal licensing event taking place in London from Tuesday September 28-30th.

“Nikki has joined Chapman at an exciting time as we prepare to launch new pre-school properties, Little Charley Bear and Raa Raa The Noisy Lion – in addition to our ongoing expansion of Roary the Racing Car and Fifi and the Flowertots,” said Champman mamaging director Greg Lynn.

“Her experience and passion will be invaluable to the continued growth of the company, a major global player in children’s television and licensing.”
