Chapman Entertainment's tie up with Fifi and the Flowertots and Jeans for Genes Day has resulted in 750 nurseries in the UK raising over £40,000 for the charity.

Jeans for Genes is an annual fundraising day when children and adults across the UK make a small donation to wear their jeans to work or school. The money raised funds vital care and support for children and families affected by genetic disorders, and research into the causes and cures.

"With the help of Fifi and her friends, Jeans for Genes were able to encourage British nurseries and parents with young children to take part in the day, with great Flowertot activities and gorgeous £1 Fifi sticker sheets helping to raise over £40,000," said Laura Pattison, head of marketing for Jeans for Genes.

The Fifi stickers were launched earlier this year by Nell McAndrew (pictured) at the Windham Nursery in Richmond, London.
