Chapman Entertainment's pre-school characters Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris will be making an appearance at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham this weekend.

Roary will have a dedicated play area at the show, which runs on Saturday January 10th and Sunday January 11th at the NEC. This will include a small racing track laid out with pedal cars.

Visiting marshals will use the race track to explain to children what all the racing flags mean, with those who react correctly to the flags taking away a goodie bag.

"The Autosport International Show is a great family event and we are excited to be there again in our second year," said Greg Lynn, MD of Chapman. "Roary is a great vehicle for getting kids excited about cars from an early age and there will be a lot of motoring fun and games for children and parents alike to enjoy."

Ian France, show director at Haymarket Exhibitions, added: "We're delighted to welcome Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris to the Autosport International Show again, after they proved such a big hit last year."
