Chapman's Roary up for TV gong

Chapman Entertainment's pre-school show Roary the Racing Car has been nominated for Best Children's Programme at the forthcoming Royal Television Society's North West Awards.

The ceremony is being held at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester on Saturday November 15th and will see over 400 people from the TV and creative industries in the North West come together.

Maxi's New Engine is the episode which has been nominated. It will compete against Grange Hill (Lime Pictures) and Rupert The Bear (Cosgrove Hall).

Greg Lynn, MD of Chapman Entertainment, said: "We have our fingers and toes crossed here at Chapman. Roary's very popular with pre-schoolers and we are all delighted that he's been nominated."
