Character World has revealed it will be designing and producing a new line of Star Wars bedroom accessories, after securing a European license for the property.

The company is currently producing Star Wars textiles for various retailers across countries including the UK, Italy, Benelux, France and more.

Character World has held the UK license for Star Wars since 1998, and is now expanding into Europe as the firm continues its international growth.

Tim Kilby, brand director at Character World, said: “We have been working hard over recent years to execute our ambitious international growth plans, and securing the European license for Star Wars was a key milestone on this journey.

“It’s brilliant to see our Star Wars range is so popular with fans across Europe. Star Wars is one of our ever-green licenses that is loved by adults and children alike and we work closely with Disney to update the range as new Star Wars titles are released, with a new range coming at the end of 2016 for the Star Wars Rogue One movie.”
