With the movie opening in the UK today (Friday July 12th), Character World is bracing itself for strong demand for its Monsters University line of branded products.

The firm is offering a wide collection of bedding and textiles including duvet sets, rugs, cushions, sleeping bags, fleece blankets, curtains and hooded ponchos.

They are available in retailers such as Argos, Asda, Littlewoods, Sainsbury's, Wilkinsons, Smyths, TRU and B& among others.

"The new Monsters, Inc prequel is highly anticipated," said Danny Schweiger (pictured), joint MD at Character World. "It's been 12 years since the release of the original film and plans for a second one have been in place since 2005 so everyone is excited. The much hyped movie is set to be huge, so we expect to see big demand for our branded products."
