Charmed celebrates 20 years with new graphic novels, video games and remastered Blu-Ray launch

CBS Consumer Products has unveiled a raft of new products - including new graphic novels - celebrating the 20th anniversary of its popular IP, Charmed.

20 years ago, three sisters - the descendants of witches - were first introduced to the world via a popular TV series. It subsequently bore the fruit of a pop culture licensing profile that today spans apparel, gifts and more.

As it celebrates two decades on the pop culture scene, the brand has launched a raft of new products, including a new series of graphic novels as CBS Consumer Products taps into one of the publishing sector’s fastest growing entertainment streams.

The anniversary collection has been designed to expand the brand at retail and tap into a cross-generation of fans of the Charmed brand.

The Complete First Season Blu-Ray launches this week and features 22 digitally remastered episodes in high definition.

“Its release will remind fans of the amazing appeal of the series and will be supported by a range of products rolling out at retail through the rest of the year and into the first quarter of 2019,” read a statement from CBS.

Products include the Charmed: Magic School manga Original Graphic Novel from Dynamite Entertainment, novels from Joe Books, a What’s Your Story? Video game from Ludia, figures from MEGA, a subscription box from CineQuest, gift and novelty items from Ata-Boy, Just Funky and Surreal, jewellery from RockLove, collectables from Geekify and apparel and jewellery from Bioworld.
