CHF Entertainment has appointed iChild to promote its new pre-school animation, Pip Ahoy to over two million families through its iChild network.
The company has been tasked with creating a variety of education resources and activities based on the show’s characters and storylines.
iChild will then bring these to its online platform, designed to help the brand engage with parents, teachers, carers and children by developing activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage national curriculum in England.
In its partnership, iChild will also be launching a competition among nursery and pre-schools to win a visit from Stacey Solomon (who recently lent her voice to the show's theme tune) and the Pip costume character.
“We are delighted to be working closely with iChild to launch Pip Ahoy in to the pre-school education sector,” said Simon Hall, managing director at CHF Entertainment.
The firm will also be producing a selection of Pip Ahoy nursery packs featuring lesson plans, activity books and stickers with more activity planned throughout the year.
“The company has already had a great deal of success launching brands such as Peppa Pig, Roary the Racing Car and Fifi and the Flowertots into this sector and we are looking forward to seeing Pip Ahoy continue in their footsteps.”
Phil Bird, managing director of iChild, added: “We work with our team of education consultants, teahcers, marketing consultations and children’s designers to ensure that brands are able to engage effectively with parents, teachers, carers and children."
