Hoops&yoyo Ruin Christmas, the first product from the new partnership between Classic Media and Hallmark, will be shown at MIPCOM, which starts on October 3rd.

The 30-minute show will then debut on CBS on November 25th. Classic Media will handle the worldwide distribution, excluding DVDs in the US and Canada.

In the special, the pink kitten and green bunny rabbit travel through a wormhole in space and time. The pair find themselves with a young Kris Kringle and end up altering the space-time continuum, disrupting Kris' destiny to become Santa Claus.

Chloe van den Berg, EVP international at Classic Media, said: "We are committed to bringing time-honoured classics to consumers as well as creating new family viewing tradition."

She added: "We are delighted to be working with Hallmark and very much hope this is the first of many hoops&yoyo adventures we’ll see. We look forward to unveiling this new special at MIPCOM and introducing it to audiences later this holiday season."

Jodi Schade, VP of music acquisitions and Hallmark properties, said: "With six international websites, hoops&yoyo have fans around the globe – we are thrilled to partner with Classic Media to bring our first holiday special to our fans throughout the world."
