HarperCollins is continuing to build the Collins Gem licensing programme, signing up Bluebird Brands to produce a line of mugs, bags and umbrellas.
A subsidiary of RSW International, Bluebird Brands specialises in creative, co-ordinating licensed gift and home products. It is currently developing a Collins Gem sporting product range focusing on snooker, boxing, football, rugby and cricket, as well as a word line which will include such terms as chat, friend, genius and angelic on mugs and bags.
