Cookie Jar Entertainment and CPLG are teaming up with luxury department store chain Nordstrom for a push on its Richard Scarry's Busytown line through the festive period.
A wide range of products including the picture books from Random House; board games from Wonder Forge; plush, play-sets, vehicles and figure packs from The Bridge Direct; tees from Mighty Fine; and DVDs from Mill Creek Entertainment will be on shelf, while a Lowly Worm plush with DVD and play-set will be featured in the Nordstrom holiday catalogue, which goes out to two million customers nationwide.
"Richard Scarry's Busytown is a busy, busy brand," said Toper Taylor, president and COO of Cookie Jar. "We've leveraged the enormous success of the classic Richard Scarry picture books and our popular TV series, Busytown Mysteries, which is the number one Saturday morning network TV series among kids two to five, into a beautiful selection of products at Nordstrom."
Jay Foreman, president of The Bridge Direct, added: "Richard Scarry's Busytown is a much-loved classic property that we're excited to bring to life as toys."
