Cool new deal for Nelvana

Animation company's library to be made available digitally after new agreement.

Digital entertainment download store Coolroom has signed its first kids digital retail agreement with Nelvana Enterprises.

Over 650 episodes from Nelvana's library will now be made available digitally at both Coolroom's download store - - and on the firm's bespoke and unique IPTV channel across Microsoft Media Center.

Consumers with Windows XP or Vista PCs can view Coolroom through Media Center, while kids can view the Nelvana classics on the TV screen via a remote-controlled home entertainment PC.

The titles - including classic brands like Babar and Rupert - will be available for download to own or rent from 60 pence per episode.

Founded in 1971, Nelvana is made up of two divisions. Nelvana Studios develops and produces animated content from its production facility in Toronto.
