CPLG has been appointed by Mind Candy as the licensing agent for its new brand, World of Warriors.
The firm will work across continental Europe and the US, overseeing licensing for all categories, supporting the global partners in-territory and securing new local and regional territory licensees.
The World of Warriors brand first appeared last year as a mobile game - it became the number one role playing game for iPad in over 80 countries in the App store, and featured globally in Best New Games with an average 4.5 star rating.
In addition, World of Warriors also features in The App Store's Best of 2014 list, with over 90 million fights played to date. A top 50 grossing game in the US, it received the Apple Editor's Choice feature across the globe.
"We are incredibly excited to be working with CPLG not just in Europe but also the US," said Sam Ferguson, head of licensing at Mind Candy. "They have a tremendous track record and heritage as a world class agency."

"It is exciting for us to also be overseeing the US market through our new CPLG office, opened last year. The game has launched to incredible success, and the toy line coming soon is a fantastic range in its own right, which will expand the fan base and create more licensing opportunities."
World of Warriors collectables, play-sets, publishing and trading cards will be launching throughout 2015. CPLG will be looking to expand the licensing programme in its territories from early 2016.
