CPLG Iberia has been appointed as licensing agent for both the Mr Men and Little Miss brands across Spain and Portugal by Sanrio.
The group will be aiming to build a licensing programme across the two countries that targets both children new to the brands and adults that have grown up with the Mr Men and Little Miss characters.
“We are delighted to be collaborating with Sanrio once again and we will work closely together to strategize and launch an Iberian licensing programme that pays close attention to the marvellous heritage of this brand.” Says Elsa Gomes, Managing Director of CPLG Iberia.
A new style guide has been compiled by the Sanrio Power House design team for Iberian licensees and will feature artwork designed specifically for each target demographic.
“It is a really exciting time for Mr Men, new brand strategy and style guides are in place and the next step is to bring this to market.” Adds Lisa Macdonald, VP of Mr Men Ltd.

Since its creation more than forty years ago, the Mr Men and Little Miss brands have become a multi-media franchise spanning books, TV and toys.
