Copyright Promotions Licensing Group is aiming to take the Elvis merchandising programme to a new level in Europe after its appointment as the pan-European rights ageny for Elvis Presley Enterprises.
The representation, which starts immediately across Europe, begins in the UK on January 1st 2008.
One of CPLG's immediate targets is the 40th anniversary of Elvis' famous 1968 Comeback Special. Using the stylised look of the iconic TV event, the firm is developing a creative direction for inspiration to new and existing licensees.
Central to this will be fashion, collectibles, memorabilia, accessories, homewares and art.

In the UK, the Elvis brand will be developed through a carefully planned licensing programme including gifts and novelties, stationery and further exploration of fashion and accessories ranges.
"Product will reflect the many facets of Elvis' life and draw upon the vast photographic and artwork resources held by EPE," O'Malley continued. "The breadth of opportunity presented by Elvis' name, likeness, his home Graceland and the photography and art bank are tremendously exciting."
