CPLG Sport celebrates England's success

Qualification for 2010 FIFA World Cup will significantly boost Three Lions brand.

CPLG Sport is expecting licensed product for the England football squad to be given a significant boost following the team's qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The firm has extended a number of deals with existing licensees, as well as bringing on board a selection of new partners across various categories - including home furnishings, toys, games and novelties, pet products, baby products and motorcycle accessories.

There are currently over 30 FA licensees, with the programme set to grow even further.

"We are delighted to welcome new licensees into The FA's comprehensive licensing programme and to be working closely with our existing partners during this exciting period," said Kevin Hall, business development manager at The FA.

"We are understandably seeing strong retail interest with the whole country ready to get behind Capello's team."
