CPLG strengthens entertainment division

Rebecca Burton joins firm as toys and gifts category manager.

CPLG has hired a new category manager for toys and gifts in the shape of former Hit and Entertainment Rights girl, Rebecca Burton.

Burton began her career at Hit - winning the Peter Orton Scholarship in 2005 - before moving to Entertainment Rights. Initially working in product development, Burton went on to manage the UK publishing, stationery and partyware categories.

"I'm thrilled to announce Rebecca's appointment," said Vickie O'Malley, MD, CPLG UK. "She's a wonderful addition to the team and I'm very much looking forward to introducing her to all our partners."

Burton added: "I am really excited about this fantastic opportunity to work within the children's television sector at such a well respected international company. I'm excited about being involved in all facets of brand management cross CPLG's exceptional property portfolio."
