CPLG UK's senior commercial manager, Nicola Thompson, is taking part in the London Bikeathon this Sunday (September 16th), the mass sponsored ride in aid of blood cancer research.
Thompson and her husband Marc will join some 5,000 cyclists on the 52-mile journey around the capital.
All money raised goes towards Leukemia and Lymphona Research, the only UK charity dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for all blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
"At CPLG we recently started to represent the Tour de France and I got the opportunity to travel to France to see the event up close," said Thompson. "It was a fantastic experience and really gave me the cycling bug, so when the opportunity came to get on my own bike for charity I persuaded Marc to join me in emulating Wiggo and co and raising some money for a fantastic charity at the same time.
"I just hope we're still talking by the end of it."
