HarperCollins will be publishing the latest children's novel from David Walliams earlier than planned in September, due to high consumer demand.
Ratburger will be Walliams' fifth book and tells the story of Zoe and her ice cream loving dad, her adopted rat, Armitage, and villain Burt.
It will be published on Wednesday September 19th, with its arrival celebrated with a week of promotions and events, dubbed 'Walliams Week'.
Walliams is the fastest growing children's author in the UK market, according to Bookscan, selling an average of 20,000 books each week.
Cumulatively, across four titles, Walliams' books have sold over a million copies in the UK alone. His last title - Gangsta Granny - went straight to number one in the children's book charts and globally his books have been translated into some 25 languages.
