DHX grows Caillou programme in US and Canada

Licensing agreements inked across toys, storage, health, beauty and puzzle games.

DHX Media has signed a wide range of broadcast and licensing deals for its pre-school property, Caillou.

PBS Kids has just snapped up the fourth season, and DHX has notched up a number of licensing agreements across toy, storage containers, health, beauty and puzzle game categories.

In addition, Percy3D - a video platform which encourages people to create their own personalised video moment using the latest 3D visual effects and multimedia technologies - has come on board. The firm has taken worldwide digital party invitation rights to Caillou in a three-year deal.

DHX has also renewed its agreement with Buy Seasons for Caillou party goods.

ID Toys has signed up as the US and multi-territory master toy licensee; Komar Kids has taken on sleepwear; and Karmin International has a range of puzzles.

A raft of licensees have also been added in the Canadian market.
