DHX Media appoints new creative services director

Paul Keech joins the company where he will oversee creative on In the Night Garden, Teletubbies and Abney and Teal.

Independent creator, producer and distributor of children's entertainment, DHX Media has appointed a new creative services director.

Paul Keech has joined the company as it steps up its UK and worldwide licensing activity on properties including In the Night Garden, Teletubbies, Abney and Teal and Dipdap.

Keech will be responsible for managing the creative direction and development of all creative assets of the brands.

Boasting a wealth of experience, for the last six years Keech has led the design department at Hit Brands/Mattel as VP creative services, overseeing the creative group during the transition from stop-frame to CGI n brands such as Thomas and Friends, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam and Mike the Knight.

He began his career with 20th Century Fox as director of product development.

Based in the firm's London office, Keech will work with brand director Tor Bushell and Stephen Gould, commercial director of DHX Media's UK team.
