DHX Media appoints Thom Chapman as territory manager

Exec responsible for English-speaking Canada and Asia Pacific territories.

Independent producer, distributor and licensor of children's entertainment, DHX Media, has appointed Thom Chapman as its new territory manager.

Chapman will be responsible for sales to English-speaking Canada and the Asia Pacific territories, and will focus on the expansion of DHX Media's properties across all platforms in these areas.

He will report to DHX Media's SVP of distribution Josh Scherba.

Chapman boasts extensive experience within the industry, having held position of VP of business development and sales at ToonBox Entertainment, where he oversaw financing, PR, sales and advertising for the company's animated projects.

He has also produced live action films for eOne and created and produced the YMA-nominated 3D series The Beet Party.

Steven DeNure, president and COO of DHX Media, said: "Thom has a terrific track record in both the creative and business sides of animation and he will be a great asset to our sales team s we continue to forge relationships in the key markets of Canada and Asia Pacific."
