DHX Media outlines new appointments

The company is looking to integrate its studio and distribution teams with the appointments of new management members.

DHX Media is set to integrate its studio and distribution teams with a line-up of key new appointments.

To help bolster the company’s global growth strategies, DHX has named Anne Loi (pictured left) as its new executive VP of global operations, where she will oversee all studio and distribution group operations.

In addition, Josh Scherba (pictured right) has been appointed to the position of executive VP of distribution and content, and will now have overall responsibility for creating and selling kids’ and family content.

Elsewhere, Stephanie Betts has been named SVP of development and current series. In her new role Betts will take an active role in the creative oversight of production for all DHX Media original content.

Lastly, Ken Faier is set to become SVP and executive producer of DHX content, where he will continue his focus on new business, interactive and brand development.

“Anne and Josh have been with DHX Media since day one and this integration of our studio and distribution leadership consolidates their strengths,” said Steven DeNure, president and COO of DHX Media.

“With Stephanie at their side, along with our deep team of highly creative production professionals and a veteran distribution team, we have a fantastic group focused on creating great kids’ content.”
