DHX Media is to rebrand all of its subsidiaries under one label in a bid to strengthen its company identity, both domestically and internationally.
Production units Decode Entertainment, Halifax Film and Studio B Productions; TV distribution division Decode Enterprises; consumer products department DHX Licensing; and DHX Interactive will all fall under the single label of DHX Media.
"All of the DHX Media subsidiaries have a first rate reputation and pedigree in their areas of expertise, but as our divisions work increasingly in tandem across our slate of products, it's a natural next step for us to rebrand under a common name and present a unified brand to the global market," said Steven DeNure, president and COO of DHX Media.
"This renaming across all division will strengthen our combined identity, and allow us to be more effective and focused as we move into the next stage of growth."
DHX Media produces live action series including That's So Weird, plus animated shows like Animal Mechanicals, Franny's Feet, Kid vs Kat and Dirtgirlworld, plus new pre-school show, Rastamouse.
