DHX Media to launch new In The Night Garden app

New app will include four to five different activities featuring the popular characters: Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, The Tombliboos and The Ninky Nonk.

P2 Entertainment has partnered with DHX Media to launch a new In the Night Garden app.

The new gaming app is set to include four to five different activities revolving around the show’s popular characters: Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, The Tombliboos and The Ninky Nonk.

The In the Night Garden app will also feature the show’s original sound track, sound effects and popular catchphrases, as well as narration that will offer instructions and encouragement to young fans.

Developed by the London based creative agency, Scary Beasties, the app will target children age two to five.

The app is scheduled for release on iOS and Android this May.

Gerry Whiteside, co-director of P2 Entertainment, said: “The regular 6:20pm slot on CBeebies every evening means that the show has become an important part of the bedtime routine for many families and every year a new generation of fans welcomes the show into their home.

“This will allow us to target a growing audience and we are committed to creating an app that truly captures the unique essence of what makes In the Night Garden special.”
