Dinosaur King programme keeps growing

Aykroyd & TDP and Smith and Brooks added to list of licensees for 4Kids property.

4Kids Entertainment has added a brace of licensees to its Dinosaur King property.

The new deals will see Aykroyd & TDP Licensing producing boys' nightwear and underwear, while Smith and Brooks is on board with a range of apparel, including leisurewear and swimwear, due for launch in spring/summer 2010.

The duo are the latest to pledge support to Dinosaur King in the UK and join the likes of Vivid Imaginations (toys), Upper Deck (trading cards), Sega (video games), H Grossman (outdoor toys), Ensobrados (pogs) and Pyramid (posters, badges, key chains).

Dinosaur King currently airs on Jetix and GMTV Kids in the UK, where it has been ranked as the number one show across commercial multi-channels.

"Following the strong toy debut from Vivid Imaginations earlier this year and impressive trading card sales from Upper Deck, Dinosaur King is attracting the interest of many licensees and retailers," said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, MD of 4Kids. "Dinosaurs have timeless appeal and these new deals reflect the success of the brand in the UK and Ireland."
