Disney is moving the release date of Marvel's Ant-Man forward, states The Hollywood Reporter.

The superhero movie was previously set to arrive on November 6th 2015, but has been moved to the summer spot of July 31st 2015.

This means it will avoid clashing with the new James Bond movie, but will now follow in the wake of the Batman Vs Superman movie on July 17th 2015.

The film is being directed by Shaun of the Dead's Edgar Wright and centres on Henry Pym, a scientist who invents a way to change his size.

It all makes for a busy summer for Disney in 2015, with Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron coming on May 1st, Pixar's Inside Out on June 19th and the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie landing on July 10th.
