Disney dates Frozen 2, Lion King, Star Wars IX

Disney has dated a slew of upcoming films, with Lion King, Frozen 2 and Star Wars Episode IX hitting theatres in 2019.

Disney has set the dates for a slew of upcoming films, starting with Star Wars Episode IX which is slated to hit theatres on May 24th 2019.

Also hitting cinemas in 2019 is The Lion King live action remake on July 29th and the highly anticipated sequel to 2013's Frozen which is due to release on November 27th.

Elsewhere, the next chapter in the Indiana Jones series has been pushed to July 2020, giving Steven Spielberg the time to finish work on other projects including Ready Player One.

2019 is looking to be packed year for the company with Lion King, Frozen 2 and Star Wars joining a new Avengers movie as well as Pixar's Toy Story 4.
