Walt Disney has officially revealed its plans to launch a sequel to its animated phenomenon Frozen.
The studio has confirmed that Frozen 2 is now in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios, with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee helming the project.
Peter Del Vecho returns to produce the new feature.
CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger made the announcement of the follow up feature to Disney’s Oscar winning animation at Disney’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Iger was joined by John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios and actor Josh Gad, who provides the voice of Olaf from the original movie.
Details of the new movie’s release date and production details are yet to be confirmed.
