Disney has signed a pair of licensees to develop products based on its Art Attack Disney Junior TV show.
Clementoni and Copywrite will produce a host of arts and crafts goods like crayons, scissors, drawing boards and more.
The former has developed a Magnetic Drawing Board, Drawing Projector, Mandala Spyro Sand and Monster Attack, which encourages kids to experiment with cardboard, paper maché and origami.
Meanwhile, Copywrite’s range includes brushes, colouring pens, pencils, a Messy Mat, Art Apron and Craft Puncher, which lets children create various effects with different materials.
The news comes following the launch of the Art Attack website, which achieved the best weekly audience on record for Disney Junior UK website traffic. Video clips will be streamed on the Disney Junior YouTube channel to coincide with the new TV series.
Art Attack’s core audience is kids aged five to seven years old.
A Disney statement read: “The products are inspired by the larger-than-life paint pots and pencils of the popular TV set.
“With the recently launched second series of Art Attack currently airing on Disney Junior, the products will be the perfect at-home accompaniment to encourage children to have a go at what they see on screen, whilst bringing their own ideas to life.”
