Working with the Royal Collection, The Dolls House Emporium is to produce a replica of the Queen's Dolls House at Windsor Castle.

The Derbyshire-based company is a leading designer and supplier of 1:12th scale dolls' houses and accessories.

The firm is crafting miniature furniture, accessories, décor and architecture, reproducing those in the dolls house which was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens for Queen Mary in 1924.

"It really is a privilege to be able to replicate some of the beautiful items that feature in The Queen's Dolls' House," said Jackie Lee, MD of The Dolls House Emporium. "This house is a perfect representation of a Royal household at the beginning of the 20th century, albeit on a small scale."

Available from April, the reproductions include a roll-top walnut writing desk, a Queen Anne four-poster bed, an Aubusson carpet and a dressing table with accessories.
