Dork Hunters has delivered its highest ratings to date on South African channel SABC1, drawing in 316,096 kids aged 6-11 years, equivalent to a 50.6 per cent share of that audience.
The show delivered more kids than all four other competing networks in the time period including SABC2, SABC3, ETV and MNET, which delivered a combined 215,520 kids aged 6-11 years for a combined 37.9 per cent market share.
Nicola Andrews, Managing Director of BKN New Media in London, said: "This property has consistently delivered and increased its audience over time which is a real sign of success. We are very pleased with the ratings in all markets where the property has launched.”
The property will launch in a number of additional markets and channels in 2009. Earlier this month UK rights were snapped up by Jetix.
