Britain’s Best Dish, featuring recipes from the hugely successful ITV1 daytime show of the same name, will be published alongside the third series due to air later this year.
The deal was brokered by DK’s special projects publisher, Stephanie Jackson, who said: “We are delighted to be working with ITV again following the huge success of Rosemary Schrager’s School For Cooks last year. Britain’s Best Dish features the very best amateur cooks in the country and we are looking forward to featuring their delicious recipes in this fantastic new book.”
Britain’s Best Dish is the top rating, long running series produced by ITV Studios for ITV1 in the UK. The weekday show first aired in 2007 and regularly achieves in excess of two millon daily viewers and over 13 per cent share win in its early evening slot. (BARB)
Starring members of the British public, Britain’s Best Dish follows them preparing their signature dish for expert judges Jilly Goolden, Ed Baines and John Burton-Race, with the opportunity to win a first prize of £10,000.

DK’s 224 page tie-in hardback will feature recipes from all three series and will be published on September 1st 2009, priced at £20.
