DRi adds Kimmidoll to its portfolio

DRi Licensing has broadened its portfolio, adding Japanese style brand Kimmidoll to its roster.

Kimmidoll is a family of simplistic dolls which fuse traditional Japanese customs with contemporary creatives celebrating love, wisdom and friendship.

Created in 2008 by Australian graphic art studio, The Aird Group, Kimmidoll is sold in over 50 countries worldwide. Over six million products have been sold, with the dolls featured on a variety of merchandise including stationery, bags and homewares.

A 'little sister' line was launched in 2009, with Kimmijunior targeted at four to ten year olds. Each of the collectable dolls features distinctive child orientated designs, names and their own personality.

"Kimmidoll is a charming, stylish and vibrant brand and one which sits perfectly in our licensing portfolio," said Alicia Davenport, licensing director at DRi. "The property's international growth is astounding and we are delighted to be appointed as Kimmidoll's UK agent.

"Kimmidoll already has a solid fan base here and plans are well underway to strategically build on that loyal following to ensure the brand continues to develop and grow in the UK."
