DRi enjoying success with Edward Monkton

New launches bolster homewares sector, as Rainbow Designs adds to gift line.

DRi Licensing is enjoying solid success on the UK High Street with its Edward Monkton property, with several new launches in the homewares category giving it a boost.

David Mason Designs has recently launched a kitchen ceramics line in stores including House of Fraser and Bhs. Lines feature familiar classic Edward Monkton designs, as well as new artwork created specifically for individual products.

In the summer, DMD will release a range of bathroom ceramics including 'The Tumbler of Truth', 'The Toothbrush of Joy' and a 'Lovely Liquid Happiness' soap dispenser.

Cooksmart is also planning to launch a line of aprons, tea towels and oven gloves in the summer, while Iron Gut has a range of limited edition prints and DNC will launch a 'Travel Mug of Splendidness' and 'Special Lunch Bag of Deliciously Healthy Things' next year.

On top of this, Rainbow Designs will be adding to its collection of gift items, with notebooks, mugs and tote bags due later this year.

"His unusual and often left-field observations of everyday life resonate profoundly with people from all walks of life, and the brand's iconic style and quirky humour brings fun and originality into their homes."
