DRi scoops greetings card deal

DRi Licensing has been appointed to represent designer, Caroline Gardner.
Publish date:

Caroline Gardner Publishing was established 15 years ago, by Gardner and her husband, Angus following a successful card commission from a Tokyo-based art gallery. Before long, a buyer from John Lewis spotted the company’s iconic designs - and the rest is history.

The Company now has a thriving and established business with major national accounts including John Lewis, WH Smith, Harrods, Selfridges, Waitrose, Waterstones and Boots as well as independent retailers.

The potential for licensing Gardner’s work has been recognised by several licensees and retailers leading to a number of licensing arrangements over the past few years including those with Boots and Mothercare and the current Caroline Gardner licensees - Helen Exley Books and Margaret Muir.

Alicia Davenport, DRi’s licensing director said: “Caroline’s stunning designs have a huge and very loyal following and we’re excited to have the opportunity to expand her distinctive art onto a wider range of complementary products.”

Caroline Gardner joins the host of top properties currently featured in DRi’s licensing portfolio including Miffy, Guess How Much I Love You, Bobbypin and The World of Roald Dahl.
