Egmont is adding to its already strong licensed portfolio, launching an official Toy Story magazine, just as the third film hits cinemas in the UK.
The title will hit newsstands on July 21st and will target a core readership of four to seven year old boys, with an initial print run of 100,000. Each edition will be 24 pages - with the special bumper launch edition being 28 pages.
Content will include original comic stories, fact files and activities such as games, puzzles and colouring.
"We are delighted to announce the launch of the Toy Story magazine and are extremely proud to add such a loved and respected brand to our magazine portfolio," said Alison David, commercial director at Egmont UK. "This publication is sure to be a hit as the children and their parents continue to seek new ways to engage with the story and characters, especially over the summer holiday period."
