A new collection of books featuring the classic Scooby-Doo character is hitting retail shelves in Romania.
The European Licensing Company secured the deal with Gama Publishing House, one of the market leaders in the Romanian children's book sector.
The new line will feature colouring, activity and reading books, as well as an educational series which will teach children about subjects such as the animal kingdom, unusual occupations, great inventions, geography and the universe.
Gama is also due to add to the range later this year.
"We are delighted to have added a major name such as Gama Publishing House to the licensing programme for Scooby-Doo," said Hakan Durdag, CEO at ELC. "It shows just how popular Scooby is in Romania and how much potential exists for future brand development."
