Endemol unveils new division

Endemol has created a new division which will focus on developing the firm's properties across various platforms, including licensing and merchandising.

Endemol Worldwide Brands will be headed up by Oliver Gers, former senior executive at FremantleMedia and IMG. He will report to Endemol's chief commercial officer, Tom Toumazis.

Joerg Bachmaier, former senior VP of digital media business development, has been named as senior VP and general manager for the Americas at Endemol Worldwide Brands.

"The launch of Endemol Worldwide Brands represents another significant step forward in our ongoing strategy for growth; one which we believe will add considerable value to our IP," said Toumazis.
